Dr. Gina Ball Orthodontics

Dr. Gina Ball was raised in midwestern Saskatchewan. She obtained her dental degree, with Distinction, in 1997 from the University of Saskatchewan.
During her 8 years as a general dentist she had the opportunity to work on Vancouver Island, in the United Arab Emirates, and in Pitt Meadows.
In 2005 she entered the Graduate Orthodontic Program at the University of Toronto. During her time at the University of Toronto she also taught in the Radiology and Orthodontic Undergraduate Clinics. She obtained her Masters of Science in Orthodontics and her Fellowship with the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in 2008.
She has been living and working in Squamish B.C. ever since. Her research on growth and development of the mandible has been published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
Dr. Mark Olesen Endodontics

Dr. Mark Olesen received his dental degree from the University of British Columbia in 1988. He practiced general dentistry in Nanaimo for 6 years and then in 1996 completed his graduate program in Endodontics at the University of Southern California.
He is a member of the British Columbia Society of Endodontists and the American Association of Endodontists.
He co-mentors the multi-disciplinary VIP study club and is a clinical professor at the University of British Columbia Graduate Program in Endodontics. Since 2001 he has given courses at his office which over 1000 dentists from around the world have attended.
Mark is passionate about his field and devotes much of his time to the study and improvement of the Endodontics specialty. With practices in North Vancouver and Whistler Mark is able to serve and help more people, something that is close to his heart.
Dr. Sonia S. Leziy Periodontics
DDS, DIPL PERIO, FCDS(BC), FRCD(C), Vice President of Clinical Affairs (SSC)
Dr. Sonia Leziy received her dental degree from McGill University in 1989 and completed a general practice residency program at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal. Her post-graduate degree in periodontics was completed at the University of British Columbia. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, the ICOI, and a member of the British Columbia Society of Periodontists, the Canadian Academy of Periodontists, the American Academy of Periodontists and the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. She is an associate clinical professor at the University of British Columbia and co-mentors the multi-disciplinary VIP study club.
Dr. Leziy is a member of the editorial board of the Journal Spectrum Dialogue, the Journal Teamwork and the Journal of Esthetic Dentistry and periodic reviewer for the Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry. She has published on implant esthetics and surgical protocols. Dr. Leziy is actively involved in two clinical trials involving new dental implant designs.
